What exactly does the IMS (Integrated Management System) integrate? Within our general cargo cooperation, the IMS brings together the systems for quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001) and food safety (HACCP). Advantage: The systems can be linked together. This saves time: when identical data needs to be maintained, duplicate entries and redundancies are avoided. Furthermore, during audits, similar requirements can be assessed in a combined process.
During the three-day quality management seminar, trainer and consultant Harald Mohme explained the specific requirements of the norms and standards and how they can be efficiently implemented in practice. Our Quality Manager and Lead Auditor, Andreas Nowotny, led the seminar.
A big thank you to all participants for their interest and constructive dialogue!
Photo: A great atmosphere at our central hub: after work in the seminar room, the second evening took us on a ‘Stadtwächter’ tour of the sights in Schlitz.
