Off to Austria – OSL audit at Wildenhofer

Stückgutlogistik: OSL-Audit bei Wildenhofer in Österreich

We are now crossing a border, namely the one between Germany and Austria: the internal OSL audit took our QM Manager Andreas Nowotny to Wildenhofer Spedition und Transport GmbH in Salzburg and in Achau near Vienna. Wildenhofer has been a system partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik with its Salzburg location since 1998, followed by the Vienna branch two years later.

The Wildenhofer family firm was founded in Salzburg way back in 1887 when Leopold Wildenhofer purchased an existing transport company at the railway station. Combined transport is once again one of the company’s core competencies today. In 2023, Wildenhofer invested in a Megalifter at its Salzburg location to optimise the interface between road and rail. The Megalifter can pick up, set down or lift containers and swap bodies quickly, easily and safely from a truck trailer onto a rail container car.

This year, Wildenhofer plans to expand the existing photovoltaic system in Salzburg. Construction will soon also begin at the Vienna branch in Achau, where a larger transshipment facility and an additional logistics hall are planned.
