Global Express Austria GmbH is now also becoming a partner of Online Systemlogistik (OSL) through its Ljubljana site in Slovenia; the partnership will commence on 1 April 2026. In addition to Ljubljana, Global Express will also use its branch in Maribor for the handling of OSL shipments.
Until now, OSL partners have been able to carry out general cargo transport to and from Slovenia via bilateral gateway services, including with Global Express Austria. Through this partnership, Global Express is strengthening this connection, which will be served by the regular main service with overnight handling from April. Furthermore, OSL Quality Management is including the Ljubljana site in the matrix certification; billing at standard partner rates can be processed via the central OSL clearing system.
Exactly six years ago, on 1 April 2020, Global Express Austria GmbH joined the ONLINE Systemlogistik general cargo network with its Austrian site in Kalsdorf, followed by Klagenfurt in November 2025. “Since joining Online Systemlogistik, we have been able to grow very rapidly in the general cargo sector,” says Rolf Hadolt, Managing Director of Global Express Austria GmbH. “We expect the partnership with our Ljubljana site to increase the utilisation of our trucks to and from Slovenia.” Verena Käuper and Mike Wüllner, members of the management board at Online Systemlogistik, are delighted with the new Slovenian partner. “This allows us to further advance our internationalisation strategy,” says Mike Wüllner. Verena Käuper adds: “The fact that we can strengthen our international general cargo network in Slovenia with a proven system partner is the ideal solution for all parties. We are now directly represented in Europe with 30 international partners.”
Proven collaboration
With Slovenia, Global Express Austria’s third location is now a partner of Online Systemlogistik. The Austrian family-run business, founded in 1959, has been managed by Rolf Hadolt since 1985, with his son Felix Hadolt joining the team in 2019. 270 employees handle 500,000 shipments per year. This is supported by 180 vehicles and 30,000 square metres of warehouse and logistics space, 1,800 square metres of which are in Slovenia. In addition to road transport and warehouse logistics, the Hadolt Group’s portfolio also includes air and sea freight transport.
