Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH, Nordhorn, will strengthen the general cargo network of Online Systemlogistik (OSL) as a new system partner from 1 August 2025. The new partner’s area covers western Lower Saxony from the Dutch border to just beyond the Ems. The first transhipment at the OSL central hub in Schlitz will take place during the night of 1 to 2 August; initially, one truck will be deployed on the main route.

‘The new partner is a welcome addition. With Kraftverkehr Emsland, we can relieve the partners who have been serving the area up to now,’ explains Verena Käuper, member of the OSL management board. ‘In addition, the optimisation of the area will enable us to achieve better post-carriage conditions for our partners and an improved cost structure.’ Neighbouring OSL partners are Hartmann International, based in Ibbenbüren, and Beeger Internationale Stückgut GmbH, based in Apen/Augustfehn.

‘We are very pleased to now be part of Online Systemlogistik,’ says Joachim Berends, Managing Director of Kraftverkehr Emsland. ‘The OSL network offers us excellent network coverage, a leading position in the market in terms of quality and punctuality, and transport prices that are competitive in the European segments.’

Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH

Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH was founded in 1959 as a subsidiary of Bentheimer Eisenbahn AG. One of its main areas of focus is combined transport: the company has over 30 vehicles at its Nordhorn site and a direct rail connection in its logistics hall; a Euroterminal is available at its branch in Coevorden (NL). Kraftverkehr Emsland offers 11,000 m2 of storage space and 3,000 m2 of transhipment space for short- and long-term storage. 90 employees handle around 130,000 shipments per year.
