The next stops on our internal audit tour took our quality manager Andreas Nowotny to the German state of Baden-Württemberg, starting with the Vögele haulage company in Schömberg in the northern Black Forest. The company has been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2022 and a shareholder since 2023. To ensure that its 70 vehicles reliably deliver their cargo to its destinations, Vögele relies on people from the region, because they know their way around. Both long-standing and new employees appreciate their employer, because Vögele has its finger on the pulse when it comes to digitization.
New recruits: 16 young people started their training at the family-owned company Meier Logistik in Rottenburg am Neckar: 12 are prospective professional drivers, two forwarding clerks, and two warehouse logisticians. Meier Logistik employs a total of 350 people. Their young, but experienced boss Alessandro Meier, has been the sole managing director since January 2024. Before that, he managed the company together with his father for seven years. Meier Logistik has been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2007.
The Alfred Renn haulage company in Lauterbach/Schwarzwald has also been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2007. Marco Rafael Renn and Emily Renn, great-grandchildren of the founder, are already the fourth generation in the company. Apprenticeships and further training for all employees are highly valued here – the best way for the company to gain more junior staff and more expertise.
Our partner UNIMASTERS Logistics in Sofia, Bulgaria, is always looking to the future. Timo Bader visited the company as an auditor for OSL. Being future-oriented means, for example, using new technologies, taking full advantage of digitization, and identifying trends. The company has been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2012.
