“Successfully certified” – it sounds so easy. But it involves a lot of work.
Certification to DIN EN ISO 9001 for quality management, DIN EN ISO 14001 for environmental management and HACCP for food safety requires intensive preparation. You have to:
- Work through the checklist,
- Compile documents and evidence, answering over 100 questions
- and allow a full-day on-site visit so that all operational processes can be audited.
At our system partner meeting a week ago, five partner companies were handed certificates. Our QM manager Marcella Rennecke presented our partners Vögele, Transland, Euro Freight and Wwe. Theodor Hövelmann with the DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001 and HACCP certificates; Transco GmbH, Singen, has also been successfully certified. Our Dutch partner CTS Group received the certificates for quality management and food safety; for organisational reasons, the DIN EN ISO 14001 certificate for environmental management can only be issued to German partners.
To assist our partners in their preparation, we have selected and drafted the questions for the theoretical section to cover all the requirement criteria of the certifications. Since it takes a lot of time to answer the questions, we have deliberately avoided unnecessary technical jargon. For the practical part, we offer our partners the opportunity to run through the audit together before the actual visit.
Delighted to receive the certificates:
Philipp Becker, Wwe. Theodor Hövelmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rees
