Audits continue: from the Rhine to Poland

2. December 2024
Am Stammsitz von Hensel Logistik in Grolsheim stehen für die Kunden aus Industrie und Handel 10.000 m2 Logistikfläche bereit.

Our quality manager Andreas Nowotny travelled up the Rhine to audit four OSL partners on both sides of the river. He started with Hensel Logistik. Founded in 1850, the company specialises in wine logistics, among other things, which is fitting given the location in the Nahe Valley. Its main site in Grolsheim provides 10,000 m2 of logistics space for customers from industry and trade. In order to reduce CO2 emissions, Hensel Logistik relies on regular driver training for lower fuel consumption, for example. The company has been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 1996.

The family-owned haulage company Spedition Striebich, based in Muggensturm near Rastatt, has also been an OSL partner since 1996. The company is managed by senior partner Herbert Striebich and his sons Maximilian and Stephan. In addition to logistics services, the haulage company offers its customers IT solutions. Maximilian and Stephan Striebich also use their know-how internally, for example to connect the OSL platform to the haulage company’s TMS system.

Next stop is Strasbourg, the location of Woehl & Cie. The long-established company, founded in 1925, has been with ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2003. Woehl & Cie works internationally with multicultural teams and places a high value on sustainability. This is also shown by the CSR reports 📖, in French RSE (Responsabilité Sociétale et Environnementale). Our quality manager discovered beehives on the Strasbourg site. There is even honey produced on the premises.

Gottardo Internationale Spedition moved to Höhfröschen in the southwest Palatinate in 2004 to gain more space; the company has been a partner of ONLINE Systemlogistik since 2003. Another new building has since been added. And Gottardo continues to prepare for the future: employees drive electric cars, and Gottardo is currently equipping its buildings with photovoltaic systems.

P.S.T. OST Sped is located far away from the Rhine, in Poland. Timo Bader was on site as an auditor for OSL. P.S.T. OST Sped has been part of ONLINE Systemlogistik’s LTL network since 2005and carries out international transport operations. The company, based in Gadki near Poznan, is increasingly relying on intermodal transport solutions and rail transport to reduce CO2 emissions.
