Balloons, tables laden with tasty food, a stage with a live band, children on the bouncing castle, games, laughter, and music – it was hard to recognise our central hub on 6 September as we celebrated our company’s 30th year in business. After the first party during the transport logistic fair in Munich at the beginning of June, we now invited our 145 employees, 97 partners, and our friends in the business to a big family get-together. Children were more than welcome and had a lot of fun, for example with airbrush tattoos, the bungee trampoline, or the miniature forklifts.
The programme for the adults: some words of welcome, including from the city of Schlitz’s mayor Heiko Siemon, and then the partners’ Olympics got off to a start with sunny weather. The participants were able to show off their determination and skill riding the rodeo bull, their mental abilities at XXL tetris, their strength at the boxing machine, or their accuracy at football darts.
Another highlight was honouring our long-term partners, who received certificates and prizes for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of partnership.
The band Goodbeats provided the music for carefree dancing, so the guests from various countries didn’t need words to understand each other.
We would like to thank all our young and grown-up guests for their visit, the band for their rousing performance, Nelle’s catering for the – as always – excellent food, and the entire Gerrit Event Concept team for providing such friendly support for all the activities.
