A “Triple Jump”: Audit at JET Logistics, Sprint Transport and Kiessling Spedition

Internes Audit bei JET Logistics, Sprint Transport und Kiesslig-Spedition

Marcella Rennecke and Andreas Nowotny from OSL’s Quality Management team have been continuing the internal audit of our partners with a “hop, step, and jump”. They started at JET Logistics in Oudsbergen, Belgium, at the end of August, then Andreas Nowotny went on to Sprint Transport in Alsdorf near Germany’s western border, and from there jumped straight across the country to Regenstauf, where he visited one of our founding partners, Kiessling-Spedition. Since dangerous cargo logistics is a specialty of Kiessling, the company is additionally certified according to SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System).

An internal audit of this kind generally takes a full working day. A pleasant, constructive atmosphere is particularly important for this work. Our QM Team came back with a number of impressions:

Inspiring: our partners have many employees who have been with them for a long time, some for over 30 years.

Future-oriented: ongoing investments in training and apprentices, new facilities, and equipment.

Motivated: at every new audit, our system partners are ambitious about doing even better than the time before.

We thank our partners for their hearty welcome and their commitment to constantly making improvements. If anyone would like more information following the audit, our quality management team welcomes any questions and the opportunity to clear up open issues together on site.
